The vineyard was developed in February of 2013 when the family planted 600 grapevines. Half of the planting included the Blanc Du Bois, white grape grapevines and Black Spanish, red grape grapevines. Both have been determined by experts to be best for planting in the East Texas soil for optimal performance. They are versatile wines that can be made into dry, sweet, and semi-dry or semi-sweet.
